Old Scams new Illusions

Hello Players: This post is to inform you of the same scams that appear to be legitimate. Most of these scams use trickery and deceptive pictures of others to deceive you into paying your money to attend. I pay attention to detail and dialogue when someone post an event, things like P.O. boxes, emails, and telephone numbers. Most scam artist use prepaid cell phone to do business, so it cannot be tracked back to them once the scam is completed. Most scam artist use email addresses as disguises for you to contact them for payment information and location of the scam event to take place. P.O. Boxes most of the time is a 97% chance of it being a scam, so again do not send money to P.O. Boxes. I have witnessed the same scams over and over again posted up under a new alias or real name of someone else, but I am not fooled by it at all. If you see a posting and it has no address, telephone number, or contact person of the facility where the event is taking place, then in most cases it's a scam. If you research a league or business and it has no business records, then its a scam. If someone post an event, research it first before you make a decision. If you research the event first it will save you time, money, and hardship. Most scam artist are creative, so never pay any money for an event until you have researched their business records and confirmed who they really are. Finally Webb don't about that scam artist Preston he will get what he deserves sooner or later, just focus on your game and getting a job and let law enforcement deal with it.

Very well put! I did not know about the PO BOX scam.. I can imagine it though. And especially the prepaid cards.. I will check online to see if there is a way to detect if a phone line is indeed contracted or prepaid. This would help a lot. Be careful and like Adam said, double check and be thorough in your research.
Good luck and thanks Adam for the post.
