-After reading this passage, I come to understand that GOD has given us a few indiviual attributes (and some of us have similiar ones); but the talents and mental abilities He has given to each of us, or wasnt given to us was for a reason. I'm not the one to say what the assured reason is, but i have a thought...
-I believe the abilities GOD has given to me thus far was to see my strife; inorder to see how much "I want it"(if I want it) I noticed everytime, in my life, I decided to "slack off" of my work, whether it be shooting my 500-1200 shoots a day, whether it be my running, lifting, or whatever it may be, whenever I slacked off, I was "punished".
-Punishment came to me in many forms: I was winded for a game, wasn't strong enough to finish a basket, couldnt hit that open jumper, or wasn't confident enough to hold my team in the game. It was due to my slacking, my own doing, my self-punishment. GOD wants the best for all of His people, and He wants us to do what is RIGHT for us...for HIM. If we(I) keep the focus on HIM to work hard/harder, than I believe I would be where I need to be with this baksetball thing (in due time).
-I believe that GOD wants me to work hard, and continue working harder. (althought I'm to work harder, I am not to over exhaust myself.) I am to go in the strength GOD has given me.
