High School: A four-year letter winner at Owen High School, ...averaged 20.3 points and 11.4 rebounds in her senior season...was a preseason Parade All-American...listed among the McDonald's Top 100 players...rated as the eighth best center in the nation and 33rd player overall by All Star Girls Report... was a Western Blue/White All Star, a North Carolina Oasis Shrine All Star and an Adidas All-American All Star...was an all-state first team selection...a member of the North Carolina Junior Olympic Team that was the 2001 Junior Olympic Games National Champions...went on a 10-day trip to Australia with members of the national championship team - a trip provided by People Magazine...named to the All Western Girls Basketball Team by the Citizen-Times...earned All Western Conference honors her final three seasons...garnered conference all-tournament team honors all four seasons and was the tourney MVP as a senior...pegged the team's MVP her sophomore, junior and senior years... named Owen's Female Athlete of the Year in 2002...high school coach was Tim Raines...also played volleyball and ran track...chose FSU over Auburn and Florida. During my college career I feel that I got over looked. I have been devloping my game even now after graduation and am ready for my chance. I beleive that I am the player you are looking for to play overseas. I have the heart and talent that it takes. 2005-06: Decided to participate as a student coach for the remainder of the season just prior to Christmas...played in three games...saw seven minutes of action in the season-opener vs. Georgia Southern and grabbed four rebounds...scored two points and grabbed a rebound in three minutes of play vs. Mississippi State...one of four senior captains...led the team in rebounding in the final two games in Italy, including 18 boards in one contest. 2004-05: Made solid contributions in the middle...played in 30 games and played double digit minutes in 12 of them...averaged 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game...had six points, three rebounds and two blocks in 14 minutes of play at Lipscomb...played 11 minutes and had four points and grabbed two rebounds in the UNC overtime win...scored a career-high 10 points in the FAMU win...grabbed a season-high six rebounds in the season-opener vs. Xavier - one shy of tying her career-high...recorded a career-high three blocks in the FAU win...recorded four or more rebounds four times...scored more total points (18) by the fifth game this season, than she did all of 2003-04 (14). 2003-04: Played in 14 games and averaged 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game... grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in the Savannah State game... scored in four games... played a career-high 16 minutes in the season-opener vs. Savannah State... played four minutes in the win over No. 2 Duke and had a rebound, block and steal... played seven minutes in the win over Clemson and had two points... played three minutes at Maryland and had a block... played five minutes and had a rebound in the win over Wake Forest. 2002-03:Averaged 1.1 ppg and 1.3 rpg... a rookie at the post position who has the luxury to develop over time... played in 18 games and was a force inside... had four points and a rebound in the final four minutes of the win over FIU in the WNIT first round... grabbed a career-high six rebounds in eight minutes of play in a strong performance off of the bench vs. Maryland... had two rebounds, two assists and a steal and gave the Seminoles a defensive spark in six minutes of play in the win at Clemson... played a season-high 10 minutes at Akron and had four points, four rebounds and three blocks... scored a season-high seven points and had two rebounds in nine minutes of play in the season-opener vs. Alabama State... sparked the team at Wake Forest with two points, two rebounds and a block in five minutes of action... solid free throw shooter, going 6-for-8 on the year... had nine blocks on the year.
