Greater Dallas Southern Basketball League (GDSBL) is making it's plans to join the United Stated Basketball League (USBL).

Unlike other basketball leagues in the metroplex, GDSBL is strives to providing a better quality of basketball at a more competitive and structured environment that will be fun and exciting for all. GDSBL is a Pro Am League and gives players and coaches the opportunity to showcase their talent.

We Believe in providing the best opportunity for all athletes showcased in our league and providing each player with an opportunity to enhance their skills to give them a better opportunity to play overseas or advance to the NBA (or D-League).

GDSBL is looking to add a team with a roster holding 10 players and 5 reserve players.

The United States Basketball League (USBL) is a twenty-four year old professional basketball league that plays a 30-game season from April through June. During its history, the league has helped over 150 former USBL players and coaches advance their professional careers into the National Basketball Association (NBA). We will be having our official team draft/tryouts on:
July 20, 2009 - July 21, 2009 - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
August 17, 2009 - August 18, 2009 - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
* Fee's for draft/tryouts will be $125 per participant.
