How to Play Overseas?
Submitted by Sylita on Fri, 2007-03-23 04:47.
I've been getting a lot of emails lately with this question. I suppose most people aren't taking the time to read through the information on the website and free downloads that are available to help you. I recommend the following steps if you want to learn how to play basketball overseas. 1. Read as much as you can from Basketball Overseas website. 2. Download the free basketball overseas guide 3. Gather your basketball profile and add it to Basketball Connect 4. Post your updates, photos and other information to the site. 5. Contact teams, agents or other players to further collaborate & expand your contacts Good luck

I'm just wanting an opportunity to show that I can Play on the "Next Level". I'm a 5'll combo guard. A lot of people compare me to a smaller Jason Kidd because of the way i Love to pass the ball, but I can get into scorers mode just like Allen Iverson when asked or needed too. I played and started 4 years at Union University at Point Guard and slid to the 2 spot sometimes. I never averaged double figures while in college because I never needed too. I know over my career I averaged 8 pts., 5 assists, 4 rebs., and 2 steals per game. I shot 40% from 3 point range as a freshman, 43% as a sophmore, 49% as a junior, and 48% as a senior. I shot over 80% from the free throw line and 42% from the field. As a high schooler in Dalton, GA I was ranked the #1 point guard in the state as a junior and senior made the All-State 1st team as a junior and senior was a McDonald's All-America Nominee, played alongside Kwame Brown, Josh Powell, and Chris McFarland on THE GEORGIA STARS AAU Team. I scored over 1800 points in my high school career and is the all-time leading scorer in school history also had over 550 assists in high school. I was a 4 year starter in high school (97-01).
